How to read text values using Lookup Tables in Revit

1. Create lookup table in whatever software you want, following the Revit rules for Lookup Tables, but make sure that the text values are in double quotes:

2. Header for the column in the Lookup Table must be ParameterName##Other##, in the next picture I have a parameter "Type":

3. Parameter settings must be as follows:

4. Then the parameter formula:

5. Change DN parameter:

6. As result the parameter reads the Text value from Lookup Table.
